Environmental Toxins

What are Environmental Toxins?

Environmental Toxins

Unfortunately, environmental toxins are a result of our 21st Century way of life. Many of these substances are not things to which our bodies are designed to cope. They include agricultural sprays and chemicals that are widely used; mercury in the form of amalgam which has been put in our teeth for years. We are regularly exposed to radiation, heavy metals, petrochemicals, solvents, fluoride, chlorine, viruses, bacteria etc. - so it is no coincidence that New Zealand has among the highest cancer and asthma rates in the world.

Where are they?

Environmental toxins are in the air we breathe, the water we drink, the food we eat, the houses we live in, what we use to clean our homes, what we use to clean and moisturise our bodies, make-up, and the chemical medicines that our medical system provides for us.

How do they enter our bodies?

Generally speaking the toxins absorbed with food are more easily broken down by the digestive system and passed out via the bowel - if it is functioning correctly.

Toxins absorbed through the skin or lungs, or given by injection become more dangerous to the body as they are not easily assimilated through the normal channels (eg Liver) so they can enter other body systems such as the lymph, circulation, connective tissue, glands, muscles, bones, nervous tissue and organs such as the liver, kidneys and heart.

What damage do they do?

In "normal healthy circumstances" the human body should generally eliminate toxins; but in the modern way of life thousands of these toxins bombard us daily. They join up with other toxins making deadly chemical compounds. Add noise, static electricity, radiation; and the body is left with little opportunity to defend itself.

Toxins (free radicals) are the unstable chemical molecules that are now found in great numbers in our environment as part of the pollutants. These free radicals damage the cellular DNA in our genes. Our gene patterns become distorted so cells cannot be replicated correctly. This causes illnesses such as cancer, arthritis, eczema, psoriasis, chronic fatigue, auto-immune disorders, ME, Parkinson's, polymyalgia, Alzheimer's, migraine headaches, exhaustion, blackouts, hyperactivity in children, irritability, psychiatric disorders etc.

An example of free radical damage is when you cut an apple and leave it to the open air, it rapidly goes brown - as an indication that cell damage is occurring through oxidation - a process where the toxins in the air (free radicals) excise themselves into the apple cell genes causing pandemonium. This can be prevented by squeezing lemon juice which is an anti-oxidant onto the cut apple. Instead of entering the apple's genes, the unstable free radicals combine with the anti-oxidant (lemon juice) making stable chemical compounds that are no longer dangerous and destructive to the apple cells.

A similar reaction occurs when our bodies are subjected to toxic free radicals. That is why in today's poisonous world anti-oxidants are an important diet supplement - minimizing cell damage that causes illness and the appearance of old age.

Unfortunately the children of today are born inheriting the distorted gene patterns - so their immune systems are weakened which reduces their chances of successfully dealing with the vast number of toxins. This problem worsens with every new generation.

How do we know which ones we have?

All substances have an energy field. Each energy field is unique to that one substance making it different to all other substances. That is why hydrogen cannot be oxygen, nor can glass be concrete. Some substances are solid and we can see them. Others are not in the range of our visual field because they vibrate too quickly. Many of us tend to believe they do not exist. However all toxins are detrimental to the body no matter what form they take.

If the body has toxins in it they can be measured; because each toxin has its unique atomic vibration - or energy field - even though the toxin itself may be well hidden in the body tissues.

How do we measure them?

At Bioresonance we use a Mora III - a highly sophisticated bio-electrical machine that functions by measuring minute electrical impulses that travel throughout the body meridians via the acupuncture points found on the skin surface. Testing is usually done on the fingers and the toes in parallel with numerous test vials containing the known substances and reporting whether or not those known substances are also present in our body. The machines tests for:

  • The presence of both physical and vibrational patterns of toxins, allergens, viruses, bacteria etc.

  • Where pollutants are located in the body.

  • How well the body is dealing with these invaders.

  • The state of health of body organs and body systems.

  • The balance of the energetic fields of the organs that is so necessary for good health.

How do we remove them?

Toxins layer themselves into our body tissues. To remove them successfully with the least disturbance, John Godwin of Healing World in Tauranga has researched an Isopathic detoxification programme named The Toxic Pecking Order (TPO). This entails removing the worst, most deadly toxins first; and moving through to the weakest ones. This method is similar to peeling an onion - take off the outer layer each time and all the skin can be removed without undue trouble. Try to peel inner layers and they can only be removed piecemeal. This also happens with toxins. If the lesser toxins are addressed first they will only be partially removed from the body - allowing temporary relief. But they will never be totally removed until the 'higher level' or 'outer skin' is removed.

Isopathy Explained

Isopathy is a form of homeopathy that copes with 21st century toxins and diseases. It is only via the use of Isopathy that toxins are fully removed from the body. It consists of two parts:

  1. Firstly, a homoeopathically 'potentised' remedy to exactly match the individual vibrational patterns of each toxin or disease, and

  2. A drainage remedy.

These two are taken orally together as drops in a little water. The remedy removes the toxins and diseases from the body tissues depositing them in the bloodstream.

The drainage helps take the toxins from the bloodstream to the eliminatory organs such as the liver, kidneys and skin where they are excreted (removed) from the body by way of normal function.

"The Toxic Pecking Order"

Toxins are removed from the body in a specific order; from the most harmful to the least harmful so that the patient's health is not compromised in any way. Known as the Toxic Pecking Order (TPO), this detoxification achieves a more thorough level of cleansing than any other available.

Today, a person's immune system is perhaps 50% less effective that it was 30 years ago. However once the tissues are cleared using the Isopathic-detoxification programme, the immune system can be maintained at close to 100% - making it more difficult to pick up serious diseases in the future. The clean body is now able to ward off the majority of toxins and illnesses by excreting them without ill-effects, thereby establishing and maintaining good health.
